god timbaland is bad, i hate how if you dont like rap it makes you racist. some rap/hiphop etc is okay but timbaland adds a shit beat and a EH to other people’s and walks away with the credit thinking he is a king. How can such a talentless piece of filth get so much praise?

Since when is it racist to criticize rap? There’s good rap and there’s shit-rap, the same way some rock/jazz/metal/polka is great and some of it blows. Great review btw.

I admit I love Timbaland’s stuff, regardless of where it comes from. I can’t help it. However, I do lose respect for him every time I read a quote from his mouth that says how unfathomably awesome he thinks he is. It leaves little room for his listeners to praise him. I also lose respect for him because of the obvious theft on behalf of Nelly Furtado’s “Do It” and his adding more instrumentals to the OneRepublic-written “Apologize” and passing it off as his own.
As for the people who defend him using strings of profanity…you’re not really standing up for anyone. It takes no intelligence to throw out words you giggled at in elementary school.
