Been lazy and unmotivated again. Some reviews I might have in mind for the next coming weeks:

    slayer and nirvana why?

    the rest definitely suck, especially hellyeah. Can’t believe vinnie paul went nu metal after pantera, it’s just blasphemy.

    slayer: reign in blood is incredibly over-rated as an extreme metal landmark or ‘thrash masterpiece’
    nirvana: majority is boring indecipherable bs. People think it must have some kind of deep meaning cause its so dark and mumbly. Also skyrocketed in hype by kurts death way past what the band deserves.

    reign in blood is a great piece of breakneck headbanging album, and also pretty nice musically (tempo breaks, great riffs, solo dialogs, lyrics). Not as good as ride the lightning/MoP and definitely not as good as peace sells / rust in peace, but even if that’s not your thing, it is very influential whether you like it or not, and is constructed well musically.

    nevermind - I don’t know why some people are so hostile to nirvana. Sure, they’re overrated. So what, so are the beatles. They have some great songs, I don’t try to look for meaning, they are more of atmosphere songs, you can put whatever you want into them and it’ll be just fine, I guess that’s why everyone likes them.

    Why is Buckethead over there? Enter the chicken is pretty good, try reviewing Blueprints, that’s a bad album. Also you should really review Dragonforce.

    dude bucketheads a fucking genius why is he there? reign in blood was also a great album. nirvana sorta sucks
